Individual Mandatory Requirements Prior To Testing

You must be either clean-shaven or have facial hair that does not interfere with the seal of the face mask. This is important to ensure that the mask can create a proper seal around your face.

You must not wear any makeup, moisturisers or lotions on your face. These substances can interfere with the seal of the face mask.

Please do not smoke, eat or drink for at least 30 minutes before the test. This is to ensure that there are no particles in the air that could interfere with the test.

Masks will be provided by M.F.F.T for test purposes only. We will only test Sundstrom or 3M. If you are bringing your own mask, please ensure it is compatible with our testing machines. 

Masks can also be purchased through M.F.F.T if required.

Please bring any other personal protective equipment that will be worn with the mask, such as safety glasses or a hard hat.

You must inform M.F.F.T of any medical conditions that could affect the test results prior to test being carried out.

Please provide any information about your facial features, such as scars or birth marks that could affect the seal of the mask.
